1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a tour or using any services provided by K.L.T.G (Korea Local Tour Guide), operated by Denny Yu (Kun-yong Yu), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Guest," "Customer," or "You") and K.L.T.G ("we," "us," or "our").

If you are booking on behalf of others, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf, and all references to "you" in these Terms include such other persons.

2. Tour Services

2.1 Services Provided

K.L.T.G provides the following services:

• Professional tour guide services in English and Japanese
• Customized private tours in Seoul and surrounding areas
• Group tour arrangements
• Transportation services (when booked)
• Airport pickup and drop-off services
• Tour planning and consultation
• Restaurant and activity recommendations

2.2 Tour Guide License

Our services are provided by a licensed tour guide certified by the Korean government (License #4679). This license ensures professional standards and compliance with Korean tourism regulations.

2.3 Tour Customization

While we strive to accommodate all tour customization requests, final tour itineraries are subject to:

• Availability of attractions and venues
• Weather conditions
• Operating hours of destinations
• Safety considerations
• Legal and regulatory restrictions

3.1 Booking Process

1. Submit an inquiry through our website, email, or phone
2. Receive a tour proposal and quote
3. Confirm your booking with required information
4. Make payment as per agreed terms
5. Receive booking confirmation

3.2 Pricing

All prices are:

• Quoted in US Dollars (USD)
• Based on Seoul city and surrounding areas
• Subject to change for tours outside Seoul metropolitan area
• Valid for the specified tour dates only

3.3 Payment Terms

3.4 Deposit Requirements

• Half-day and full-day tours: No deposit required
• Multi-day tours: 30% deposit required
• Group tours (6+ people): 30% deposit required
• Special event tours: 50% deposit may be required

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Guest

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:

• Severe weather conditions
• Government restrictions or closures
• Safety concerns
• Guide illness or emergency

In such cases, we will offer you the option to:

1. Reschedule to another available date
2. Receive a full refund
3. Choose an alternative tour of equal value

4.3 Modifications

• Tour date changes are subject to availability
• Modifications requested within 48 hours may incur additional charges
• Itinerary changes on the day of tour are subject to guide approval

5. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

5.1 Guest Responsibilities

As a guest, you agree to:

• Arrive on time at the designated meeting point
• Provide accurate information about your party size and special needs
• Respect Korean laws, customs, and cultural norms
• Follow guide instructions for safety and group coordination
• Treat the guide and other participants with respect
• Take responsibility for your personal belongings
• Have valid travel documents and insurance

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Illegal activities of any kind
• Harassment or discrimination
• Intoxication or drug use during tours
• Endangering yourself or others
• Damaging property or littering
• Inappropriate photography in restricted areas

5.3 Special Requirements

Guests must inform us in advance of:

• Mobility limitations or wheelchair requirements
• Medical conditions that may affect the tour
• Dietary restrictions or severe allergies
• Language preferences
• Any other special needs or accommodations

6. Liability and Disclaimers

6.1 Limitation of Liability

K.L.T.G and its guide shall not be liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal property
• Personal injury or death except where caused by our gross negligence
• Delays or changes in itinerary due to weather, traffic, or closures
• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
• Costs incurred due to missed flights or connections
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Guests participate in tours at their own risk. By booking, you confirm that:

• You are physically capable of participating in the booked activities
• You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions
• You will follow all safety instructions provided
• You understand that some activities involve inherent risks

6.4 Third-Party Services

We may recommend or arrange third-party services (restaurants, transportation, activities). We are not responsible for:

• Quality of third-party services
• Accidents or incidents at third-party venues
• Pricing changes by third parties
• Availability of third-party services

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content on our website and materials provided during tours, including but not limited to:

• Tour itineraries and route planning
• Written guides and information sheets
• Photographs and videos taken by our guide
• K.L.T.G branding and logos

are the intellectual property of K.L.T.G and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

7.2 Guest Content

By sharing photos, reviews, or feedback about our tours, you grant us permission to:

• Use such content for marketing purposes
• Share on our website and social media
• Include in promotional materials

You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting us.

7.3 Photography During Tours

• Guests may take photos for personal use
• Commercial photography requires prior permission
• Respect photography restrictions at certain venues
• Respect privacy of other tour participants

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless K.L.T.G, its guide, and any affiliated parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Your negligence or willful misconduct
• Any disputes between you and third parties during tours
• False or misleading information provided by you

9. Force Majeure

K.L.T.G shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, typhoons)
• War, terrorism, or civil unrest
• Government actions or restrictions
• Pandemic or epidemic
• Labor strikes or disputes
• Transportation failures
• Utility failures

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide alternatives where possible.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

1. Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally.
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation.
3. Jurisdiction: Any legal action shall be brought in the courts of Seoul, South Korea.

10.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10.4 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and K.L.T.G regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

10.5 Waiver

No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. For existing bookings, the Terms in effect at the time of booking will apply unless you consent to the updated Terms.

• Email notification to registered customers
